oil summit5Global Event Partners (GEP) the company which is organizing the Uganda International Oil and gas Summit (UIOGS) 2015 under the auspices of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral development is a household name.

The Company has steered a series of international events that have linked major industrial players, strengthening the value chain system of key economic sectors across the world for over 40 years. The major sectors the Company targets include Oil and gas, Infrastructure and Financial Capacity building.

Global Event Partners is affiliated to the dmg::events network. dmg::events are the organizers of world renowned oil and gas events including Gastech, ADIPEC, The Global Petroleum Show and the  World Heavy Oil Congress and are a subsidiary of the Daily Mail and General Trust plc, one of the largest media companies in the UK.

“At Global Event Partners our mission is to develop strategic conferences and commercial exhibitions in partnership with the leading organisers around the world. We focus on relationship building and creating strong international partnerships to share knowledge and expertise and together create the leading events for the industry” the company notes

This is the Companies first time in Uganda although it has organised three conferences on East Africa oil and gas industry in Nairobi Kenya

UIOGS is among events on GEP calendar. Other events include; The Global offshore Technology Summit in Cyprus in October, The 4th China International Offshore Oil and Gas Technology Conference and Exhibition in Beijing, November 2015, Lebanon 3rd International Oil and Gas Conference in December, and The 4th East Africa Oil and gas Summit in February 2016 in Nairobi
